About EduLink

EduLink New Zealand was founded by people working in New Zealand’s education and related sectors, together with local Chinese families.

Our story

It really started with something simple: more and more families wanted to bring their children to New Zealand for a few weeks to see what classrooms and everyday life here are like. In reality, though, information was extremely fragmented: school policies are hard to read, visa requirements are unclear, and agency prices vary widely. It is difficult to know where the money actually goes, and even harder to know what to do next.

Parents who have lived in New Zealand for years – including many of our own friends – kept asking the same questions: “Could you help my child join a class here for a few weeks? Is there one place that explains the rules and costs in plain language?”

EduLink exists to make the whole process simple, clear, and transparent. We want to be a bridge between families in China, New Zealand schools, and local professional partners so that short‑term placements are predictable, understandable, and trustworthy:

  • A visible cost structure, so you know where every dollar goes
  • Clear step‑by‑step guidance, so you always know what comes next
  • Carefully selected partners, to reduce surprises and information gaps

Our goal is that every placement feels less like a “lucky dip” and more like a well‑planned, memorable learning experience for children and their families.

Our values

Transparency
Clear information and itemised costs so families always know what they are paying for.
Safety
Children’s wellbeing – both physical and emotional – comes before growth or profit.
Respect
Respect for different cultures, teaching styles, and family choices – there is no single “right” model.
Partnership
Long‑term, two‑way trust with schools and partners, rather than one‑off transactions.
